Any time there is an employer – employee relationship, the employer must have workers’ compensation insurance. This applies to all employers with at least one employee, and to both part time and full time status.

Workers’ compensation benefits are divided into two parts. Part one includes medical, rehabilitation, disability and death benefits.
Part two is employers’ liability insurance.
